“Telephone” Orgy of Pop Cartoon Couture

Wowza! Lady Gaga’s second collaboration with Beyoncé has proved to be on her terms all the way! While Video Phone was very much in keeping with Beyowulf’s styling for her album Sasha Fierce, Gagaloo has pulled out all the stops for Telephone and taken Miz Knowles along with her! The micro-film (at 9 mins it hardly counts as a video) has a massive range of “typical” Gaga outfits, ranging from the bizarre to the sexual, but all are totally wild and unpredicatable, the Lady’s signature look! It’s a lesbian themed love story to acid bright cartoon Americana; the opening act in the prison is really quite edgy and brutal, before the action careers through all kinds of weird and wonderful scenarios with Lady Gaga and Beyoncé taking on the world in hella fierce sisterhood, replete with pussy wagon. Perez Hilton on his fashion blog has listed the designers who contributed; the costumes really do take the breath away. My faves have to be the police tape outfit by Brian Lichtenburg, the leopard print catsuit by House of Gaga and the chain suit by Viktor&Rolf in the prison yard. Bee looks equally stunning in some amazing creations that push her boundaries beyond House of Derreon – Check it out on YouTube!
